David S. Eshom, DDS Achieves Accredited Status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry®
March 24, 2008 Madison, WI – David S. Eshom, DDS, of San Diego, CA has achieved Accredited status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) – joining 286 dental professionals in the world who have earned this prestigious designation. David S. Eshom, DDS reached this status through dedication to continuing education and careful adherence to clinical protocol.

Through the AACD’s Accreditation program for dentists and dental laboratory technicians, AACD members must undergo a three-part process consisting of a written examination, submission of clinical cases for evaluation and an oral examination. Each candidate must also attend a series of workshops as part of the program. While each part must be completed in sequence, candidates have up to five years to complete the program after successfully completing the written examination. Dr. Eshom is a general dentist that emphasizes dental health and beauty for his patients in his private practice in La Jolla, CA. He has his undergraduate degree in business and his DDS from the University of Pacific in 1985. He served 6 years on the Board of Directors the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Southwest Affiliate of AACD. He lectures and teaches on the use of lasers in cosmetic dentistry and is a cosmetic adviser the World Clinical Laser Institute. He uses lasers extensively in his office to provide minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys time with his wife, Karen, and his 2 children wakeboarding and golfing.
